Assisted Facility In Russellville Getting Ready To Re-open

Russellville assisted living facility Southern Manor are prepared to re-open after renovations now that renovations have been completed. The facility, then called Lawrence Place, closed in March and the owners has 21 days to renovate before getting approved for their license. Licensed administrator Tammy Trapp, who returns after leaving the Lawrence Place facility a year before it closed, has said that the fcaility has all new flooring, a remodeled kitchen, and that everything has been re-painted. Residents are expected to begin moving in May 1 and, once wrap up renovations are completed, 29 additional beds will be made available. Director of Human Resources for Southern Rural Healthcare Kathy Hall said that they went with a partial renovation to get their license for 15 beds in the alloted time frame, and will have a total of 44 beds once all of the renovation is complete. |
