In an ongoing story concerning financial troubles of Holiday Inn in Sheffield, a former employee is speaking out about being told to deceive vendors. William Caldwell, former employee of Holiday Inn says that bouncing payroll checks are only the beginning. At a recent city council meeting, records were presented that Hoilday Inn owes money to the city, state and county. Caldwell suggests that the employees were told to lie to vendors about payments and that he regularly recieved final notices on utilities at Holiday Inn. A representative for Kronos Hotels, the parent company for Holiday Inn was not available for comment.
