Lawrence County Sheriff Gene Mitchell has said that, after an investigation that has trnaspired over the past few months, four people have been arrested in connection with a series of burglaries in the East Lawrence area. Those arrested and their charges are as follows: 21 year old Ashley Nicole Coggin, of Moulton, third degree burglary, 24 year old David Lee Nix, of Decatur, first-degree theft of property and second-degree theft of property, 41 year old Billy Carl Gay Jr., of Decatur, first-degree theft of property and second-degree theft of property, and 32 year old Tommy Dale Brown, of Decatur, third degree burglary.
