A new business in Sheffield has had to postpone their opening because of the extensive theft and damage.Sheffield Police Captain Scott Wallace said that the building at the intersection of South Atlanta Avenue and 21st Street had suffered several thousand dollars in damage and that copper wiring and equipment were stolen from the business. Total damage and theft amounts to over a million dollars. The building was owned by Global Green Holdings and the business there would have employed 68 people. The owners were in the process of renovating the building and had hoped to open in two weeks, but the opening is now on hold.
