Nearly 30 guns were taken from a Tuscumbia business on July 13 at around 1:30 in the morning The theft took place at the Shoals Outdoor Sports store on US 72 near the US 43 intersection. On a surveillance video, the suspect can be seen peeking through the glass into the store. He then breaks the glass, enters the store, retrieves a motorcycle helmet to hide his face then crawls toward the weapons section. A total of 27 guns were taken in the robbery, including glocks, smith and wessons, 2 AR15's, laser sights, scope mounts, and gun grips. Tuscumbia Police investigator Stuart Setliff said that the guns are considered dangerous and asks the public to take caution and be aware.
