Shooting Injures Three

A shooting took place in the parking lot of a Sheffield club, according to Sheffield police, that left three people with minor injuries. Reports say that a large crowd had gathered in the parking lot of the Quad City Knock on South Montgomery Avenue near 2:30 am. An argument began in the crowd and three gunshots were fired. Sheffield Police Chief Greg Ray said that there were three people taken to Helen Keller Hospital where they were treated and released. An 18 year old from Sheffield, a 23 year old from Sheffield, and a 19 year old from Muscle Shoals had been to the club and were walking through the parking lot when they were injured in the shooting. No arrests have been made in the shooting and anyone with information is asked to notify the Sheffield Police or the Shoals Area Crimestoppers.
