Franklin County Sheriff's Office set up surveillence on two residences just a few hundred yards apart after an officer received a tip about possible illegal activity. Three people were arrested after the two homes were searched. 49 year old Hollis Glen Chiders and 42 year old Sonya Brooks, both of Hodges, were arrested and charged with first degree manufacturing a controlled susbstance and trafficking methamphetamine. 46 Year old Billy Brooks, Sonya Brooks ex-husband, was also arrested and charged with first degree possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession, chemical endangerment of a child, and certain persons prohibited from possessing a firearm. A pregnant 16 year old was living at the residence with Billy Brooks, hence the child endangerment charges. Ingredients and parts of a lab were found at the Brooks' residence, a one-pot lab and nearly an ounce of meth were discovered at the Chiders residence.One ounce of meth constitutes trafficking charges. The three are in Franklin County jail without bail Thursday.
