Trail Of Tears Ride Board Has Special Meeting

Members of the Trail of Tears Board met Tuesday in Madison City Hall to counter a move to disrupt the motorcycle ride that for the past 15 years has run from Chttanooga to Waterloo. A group called the Remembrance Group wants to change the route to start in Chattanooga, move through Southern Tennessee and end in Florence. The Board says the ride that commemorates the trail followed by the Indians of 1830 will stay the same...despite what any Web site says. |
