A shooting occurred Wednesday night outside of a pool room on West Mobile Street in Florence that resulted in a search for two men accused of attempted murder. Florence detective David Bradley said that attempted murder warrants have been issued for 32 Year old Marcus Dewayne Lee of Floence and 34 year old Jeremiah Maurice Thompson of Florence after the men fired into a car several times, apparently aiming at the 31 year old driver who was not injured in the shooting. Lee and Thompson were in a vehicle outside of the pool room when a car approached and Lee got out of the vehicle and began shooting into the car, mostly at the front of the car. The victim backed up and escaped down a side street and both suspects fled in different directions. The suspects are considered armed and dangerous and anyone with information is asked to contact the Florence Police or the Shoals Area Crimestoppers.
