Two teenagers from Franklin County are facing theft charges after taking $6,000 from the purse of an 80 year old woman that had hired the teenagers to clean her home. 19 year old Anita Joyce Cook is charged with first degree recieveing stolen property and a 16 year old Russellville teen is charged with first degree theft of property. A 26 year old man is charged with a mesdemeanor in connection with the robbery. The victim contacted the Sheriff's Department after discovering the money missing on July 25 and was able to provide names. They were located on Tuesday and $1,484 of the stolen money was recovered. The 16 year old was transferrred to the Tennessee Valley Juvenile Detention center in Tuscumbia while Cook is being held in the Franklin County Jail.
