A security officers union has filed a law suit against the Tennessee Valley Authority alleging refusal to allow security officers to unionize at its Browns Ferry nuclear plant near Athens. The United Government Security Officers of America filed the complaint against TVA on June 22. TVA officials stated that workers can form unions after all nuclear security officers become TVA employees, including those who work at Watts Bar and Sequoia nuclear plants.
