A fight between two men in Florence sent one man to the hospital and another to jail. Police arrested and charged 39-year-old William Cole with second-degree assault. Cole is accused of using a knife to cut 41-year-old Kertlen Lewis during an altercation at Lewis' home on Burgess Street. Investigators say Lewis was cut under the arm. He was treated at ECM hospital and released. Cole is in the Lauderdale County Detention Center without bail.
